You're the go-to person in your community, the one who can tune a small engine, ace a safety inspection, solve tricky hydraulic issues, weld a frame, or build something amazing from spare parts. Ready for a challenge? We have exciting Heavy Equipment Mechanic openings in St. Margaret’s and Eel River (Baie Ste. Anne) NB. While some tasks are routine, you'll tackle a wide range of jobs—many of them challenging and rewarding!

You'll be a key player handling tasks like:

• Routine maintenance: Oil and filter changes on all our big machines (tractors, loaders, excavators) and pickup trucks. 

• Hands-on repairs: Everything from adjusting belts & chains: changing bearings, sprockets & hydraulic hoses.

• Specialized work: Expert welding, metal fabrication, painting, and tire services.

• Technical tuning: Installation and tuning of two-way radios & antennas, plus low-voltage DC electrical diagnosis and repair.

• Continuous improvement: Looking closely at the root causes of downtime and developing solutions to improve reliability and longevity

Wages vary from $24.56 to $29.47 per hour (paid weekly), depending on skills and experience. Overtime is mandatory, but is typically shared amongst members of your team so you still have a personal life. Work on Sunday is paid at 2x the regular rate. On a typical week where you work a couple evenings and maybe a Sunday, you could gross anywhere from $1500 to $1750, or more.
