DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Head of Solution Architecture and Professional Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational management, and technical direction for the Solution Architecture and Professional Services teams across the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

This role is accountable for developing a high-performing, geographically distributed technical team that delivers exceptional customer outcomes while driving operational excellence, governance, and commercial growth. The incumbent will strengthen collaboration between Sales, Solution Architecture, and drives Professional Services to increase customer success, improve professional services adoption, and expand the organisation's cybersecurity advisory capabilities.

This role will report to General Manager: Sub-Saharan Africa

As the Head of Solution Architecture and Professional Services, you will:

• Lead and manage the Solution Architecture and drive the target for Professional Services team across Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Establish clear operating processes, governance, and performance standards for a distributed regional team.
• Drive operational excellence by improving back-office processes, including Statements of Work (SOW) creation, project administration, time tracking, utilisation reporting, and hours logging.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, resource planning, project governance, and service delivery management.
• Develop the team's ability to identify, position, and deliver Professional Services opportunities that drive customer value and business growth.
• Build stronger engagement between sales, solution architecture, and services teams to increase services attachment rates and customer success.
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Head of Solution Architecture and Professional Services:

• Proven leadership experience managing technical, consulting, solution architecture, or professional services teams across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, architectures, and industry trends.
• Experience building and scaling professional services practices.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes, governance, utilisation management, and service delivery effectiveness.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop services-led revenue opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working within a distributed and multicultural team environment.
