Lead the Future of Automation Sales as Head of Sales Automation – Pulp & Paper
Are you passionate about providing customers with the right automation solutions at the right time? Join us in a role where you will lead and develop automation sales capabilities across the Asia Pacific Pulp & Paper industry while managing your own customer portfolio. You will build strong relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and drive growth through automation investments, upgrades, and rebuild projects. Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop the automation sales team to strengthen sales capability across Indonesia Pulp & Paper market.
- Drive day-to-day sales activities and execute sales and marketing plans that support customer success and business growth.
- Promote and sell automation solutions, including DCS, QCS, analyzers, and measurement systems, within your assigned territory and customer base.
- Visit existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, generate opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules within your authority and successfully close contracts.
- Build long-term customer relationships that create repeat business and future sales opportunities.
- Identify, research, and engage prospective customers while actively expanding market presence in the assigned region.
- Prepare technical proposals and customer solutions in collaboration with global, area, and country-level experts.
- Monitor market developments, customer feedback, and competitor activities, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, bookings, proposals, costs, and customer activities while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Expectations from you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in Chinese and English
- Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve and exceed business targets.
- Strong experience in selling profitable technical solutions and delivering results in demanding commercial environments.
- Deep knowledge of pulp and paper processes and customer drivers gained through 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience selling automation systems, upgrades, rebuilds, or related technology solutions is highly valuable.
- Good understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and business negotiations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and matrix organizations..
- Ability to work independently while influencing stakeholders and guiding others within your area of expertise.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Success in this position requires a strong combination of automation sales expertise, leadership capability, and deep knowledge of the Pulp & Paper industry. You will need to excel at building trusted customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, managing complex sales processes, and closing high-value automation projects.
