The Head of Digital Products role leads the Product Group within Technology and AI Solutions group, with overall accountability for how new products are incubated, built and managed in close alignment with the business. This is a business and strategy leadership role with responsibility for owning and shaping Control Risks digital product strategy and ensuring the product portfolio delivers clear commercial and client value. The Head of Products will build and lead a team of product managers, business analysts and operations professionals, setting the standards, processes and culture the Product Group operates by, and will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from opportunity identification and incubation through to build, launch and ongoing management, working in close partnership with business stakeholders across TAS.

AI will be a defining feature of how the Product Group operates and what it delivers. The Head of Digital Products will champion the practical use of AI across product discovery, delivery and operations, ensuring the group works efficiently and that products themselves reflect the opportunities AI creates for clients and the business.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

• Define and own the overall product strategy for TAS, translating business strategy into a clear, prioritised product and digital roadmap.
• Lead and develop the Product Group — product managers, business analysts and operations professionals — building a high-performing, business-aligned team.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from incubation and business case development through to build, launch and ongoing management, ensuring new products are developed in close alignment with the business.
• Establish a structured, disciplined intake and prioritisation process for new product ideas, balancing innovation with commercial and delivery realities in partnership with the consulting business.
• Partner closely with business leadership, technology and client-facing teams to ensure products solve real business and client problems and are adopted successfully.
• Champion the practical use of AI throughout the Product Group’s ways of working and within the products themselves, identifying where AI can create differentiation and value.
• Own product performance reporting, tracking the portfolio against strategic, commercial and adoption outcomes, and making clear decisions on when to scale, pivot or retire.
• Oversee product operations and governance across the portfolio, ensuring the right processes and tooling are in place, and represent the Product Group at senior leadership level, including supporting business development where product or digital capability is relevant.

Who You Are:

Must have

• Significant experience leading a product function or product group, ideally within a professional/consulting services or comparable environment.
• Track record of taking products from incubation through to build and scale, with accountability for commercial and adoption outcomes.
• Experience leading and developing teams of product managers, business analysts and/or operations professionals.
• Strong digital strategy experience, with the ability to translate business strategy into a coherent product and digital roadmap.
• Practical understanding of how AI can be applied across product delivery and business operations, with sound judgement on where it adds real value, and excellent stakeholder management skills at senior/leadership level across business and technology.
• Strong commercial acumen, with 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, digital strategy or related business leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong grounding in modern product management practices, including discovery, prioritisation and agile delivery.
• Working familiarity with AI-enabled tools and their practical application in product delivery, decision-making and business operations.
• Strong analytical and business-case skills, able to assess the commercial viability of new products, with comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and a bias to execution.
