We're looking for a Head of Digital Product Platform (m/f/d) to build the platform foundation for a digital product organisation that is growing fast and effectively doubling in size. Our partner company is a leading B2B mobility and payment solution providers, serving customers across more than 50 countries. Built on over 90 years of continuous growth and innovation, the company has evolved into a market-leading platform with around 2,700 employees, processing €19 billion in transaction volume. As the business enters its next phase of development, it is investing heavily in its digital products and platform capabilities - scaling the product organization and moving from a feature factory toward empowered, outcome-oriented product teams - to deepen customer relationships and unlock new value at scale.

In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of product strategy, platform thinking, and organizational change. You'll own the vision and strategy for the company's digital product platform — the shared foundation that lets product experience teams ship better digital products, faster. This is not a delivery-management role: you'll treat platform users as customers, run continuous discovery, and make evidence-based portfolio decisions about where platform investment creates the highest strategic and business impact. Leading a team of Product Managers and partnering with Engineering and Design in empowered Product Trios, you'll define what the platform should become, drive adoption across teams, and make its value measurable at scale. Following a major replatforming milestone, the organization is now shaping its next strategic phase and you'll be central to defining it.

In this role, you’ll:

• Define and evolve the vision, strategy, and investment priorities for the digital product platform
• Treat platform users as customers — use continuous discovery, product analytics, and market insight to identify shared, high-impact needs, and prioritize investment across platform domains against user value, adoption, scalability, and technical sustainability
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of eight people
• Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to build empowered Product Trios
• Align Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders around shared platform outcomes and priorities
• Define success metrics for platform adoption, effectiveness, and business impact, while managing cross-team dependencies and removing organizational barriers

Your Profile: 

• 7+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS, platform, or digital business environment, including leadership responsibility
• A proven track record of shaping product or platform strategies and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes across multiple product domains
• Deep expertise in continuous discovery, experimentation, product analytics, and evidence-based portfolio decision-making
• Proven experience building, leading, and coaching empowered Product Trio teams, partnering closely with Engineering and Design
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer value, business impact, scalability, and long-term platform investment
• The ability to identify shared customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into scalable platform capabilities that create value across multiple teams
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing executive leaders and aligning multiple teams and functions around a shared vision and measurable outcomes
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus

Please note that this position is based close to Düsseldorf. At least three days per week on-site are preferred.
