Sobre este puesto de Head of AI & Automation en Faraday Norton
Faraday Norton is a family investment office based in Athens. We hold and develop investments across real estate, hospitality, energy, retail, technology and private equity, and we are building a leaner, more accountable way of running them.
As we grow, we are looking for an AI & Transformation Manager to build and lead our AI capability across the organization and turn it into measured savings and faster decisions across our companies.
The Role
As our AI & Transformation Manager, you will own how AI is used across Faraday Norton and the businesses we run. You will choose the tools, map where time and cost are lost, build or buy the agents and automations that fix it, and make sure people actually use them. Reporting directly to the founder, you will work with the owners and CEOs of our companies.
This is a hands-on, full-time role based on-site at our office in Marousi, Athens. You will be measured on results: hours saved, cost avoided and adoption, not on the number of tools deployed.
This is not a research or slide-deck role. We want someone who thinks like a builder, understands how businesses actually operate, and ships working solutions. Identify inefficiencies. Build AI solutions. Automate workflows. Deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Stack & Strategy
· Select, run and improve the AI tools and platforms used across the group, building on what we already have.
· Apply a clear build, buy or reject test to every new request, and say no when AI is not the answer.
· Keep a current inventory of where AI is used and what data it touches.
2. Workflow Automation & Delivery
· Map workflows in each company and measure the hours they take today.
· Automate repetitive work across business development, lead generation, research, finance and administration, connecting AI to our internal tools, databases and APIs.
· Build or buy agents and AI-powered tools for the highest-value workflows, including document processing, information retrieval, research and reporting, with a named owner in the business for each.
· Own each initiative from prototype to deployment, monitoring and improvement, favouring reusable systems over one-off automations.
· Within six months, have two agents in production in two different companies, each with measured hours saved.
3. Adoption & Training
· Train teams and build the habit of daily use, so that every member of staff uses AI weekly.
· Work directly with company owners and CEOs to remove the blockers that stop people changing how they work.
4. Data, Privacy & Governance
· Set data classification, an approved tools list and a short AI-use clause for the employee handbook.
· Design for privacy first, keeping sensitive family and company data inside controlled environments.
5. Measurement & Reporting
· Report savings and adoption every quarter to the founder and the Investment Committee.
· Within twelve months, have five or more agents live across at least three companies.
Requirements
· A university degree in engineering, computer science, data science, economics or business.
· AI delivered into production with named outcomes in hours, cost or revenue. Advisory-only experience does not count.
· Experience leading adoption in a non-technology business, with staff outside tech using the tools weekly.
· Experience building API integrations, working with databases and cloud infrastructure, and turning business requirements into working solutions.
· Hands-on technical depth: you have built or deployed LLM agents or retrieval systems, using Python and modern backend development, LLM APIs, tool calling and workflow orchestration, and you can judge vendors.
· A university degree in engineering, computer science, data science, economics or business.
· Professional fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
· A master's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, economics or business.
· Familiarity with n8n, LangGraph, LangChain or similar frameworks, and with PostgreSQL and vector databases.
· Experience in developing and implementing AI automations, CRM workflows, and document intelligence solutions within startups or growing businesses.
· Background in Real Estate, Energy, Hospitality, or Investment sectors, with experience building AI capabilities from scratch and working with local and open-source AI models.Sound judgment on data, privacy and governance, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
· Sound judgment on data, privacy and governance, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
· Fluency in Greek
Benefits
· Ownership of AI across a group of companies, with a direct line to the founder.
· A tools budget and the authority to pause pilots that are not working.
· Direct access to the owners and CEOs of our companies.
· A foundation to build on, with internal AI tools already in place.
· Exposure to real estate, hospitality, energy and investment businesses.
· A role judged on results you can measure
