We are looking for an Head Baker to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support the Executive Pastry Sous Chef in coordinating daily operations, ensuring recipe standards, product quality, cost control and HACCP compliance. You will support team planning, recruitment, events and financial targets while maintaining Brand Standards and addressing guest dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Bakery operations, supporting the Executive Pastry Sous Chef and ensuring smooth workflows and effective task allocation.
• Oversee recipes, product quality and costs, supporting recipe development, costing and financial targets.
• Monitor stock, inventory and orders, while coordinating with suppliers to ensure product quality and availability.
• Ensure the safe and proper use of bakery equipment and compliance with HACCP, Health & Safety and hygiene standards.
• Support event preparation through menu planning, production planning and coordination with relevant departments.
• Lead, train and develop the team, supporting recruitment, interviews, performance evaluations and daily guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Brand Standards, company policies and SOPs, while addressing allergies and special dietary requirements.

Requirements

• Professional Pastry & Bakery Diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, recipes, production methods and costing.
• Good knowledge of raw materials, stock control, inventory and ordering procedures.
• Good knowledge of bakery equipment and safe operating procedures.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety and food hygiene standards.
• Strong leadership, team development and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and allocate tasks effectively.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of allergies and special dietary requirements.
• Good command of English, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
