Sobre este puesto de GTM Lead, DACH en Mistplay
The GTM Lead, DACH sits within Mistplay’s EMEA Growth team and launches and runs Germany’s growth engine across Android and iOS, with Austria and Switzerland in scope once the German flywheel proves out. You will be reporting to the General Manager, EMEA.
Germany is the largest Android gaming market in Western Europe, and we are funding a serious run at it. The org is heavily matrixed today, so you start by looking after every spoke of the flywheel — advertiser budgets, player rewards, creative output, the operating rhythm — tracking performance, flagging what drifts, and driving the fix through UA and Product, who execute for now. As Germany’s revenue and margin prove out, direct operational control of these levers transfers to you — so we need someone who has actually run them before, not only someone who can oversee them.
The GM EMEA holds P&L accountability for Germany; you are incentivized on the functional metrics that move the flywheel — users, product and advertiser intelligence — with direct access to functional teams to move all three. The playbook you build is designed to transfer as your scope grows into the wider DACH region.
What you’ll do at Mistplay
-
Own Germany’s iOS launch readiness on the ground — catalog seeding, store presence, the UA, Product and creative pieces the launch needs..
-
Set the audience priorities and return thresholds for German UA and hold our existing EMEA UA team to them.
-
Win the Product capacity Germany needs from a centralized team with its own priorities: make the case, press for it, and keep pressing when the answer is no.
-
Diagnose where the funnel breaks downstream of the install and work the fix through Product and the agency, backed by the measurement layer — cohort economics, payback curves, channel-level yield — you build to know where to look.
-
Direct the German creative agenda through our internal team and creative agency — what to test, the local nuance it must carry, the read-out on what performed — including a push into high-ARPU genres such as Strategy and RPG.
-
Track the health of the German advertiser catalog with Commercial day to day — flag gaps early, press for the fix, so returning and new partners land on real player liquidity.
-
Close the gap between what our German players actually spend and what we can measure: push to get webshop and direct-to-consumer payment data into our performance reporting, so the margin we’re already earning stops hiding in a blind spot.
-
Keep daily watch on the German offer and reward mix, including non-gaming inventory — flag what’s underperforming and work with our non-gaming supply team to fix it, so revenue per player keeps moving.
-
Build the case for expanding into Austria and Switzerland once Germany proves out, and partner with the GM EMEA on when and how direct operational control of each lever transfers to you as results prove the model.
What you’ll bring to Mistplay
-
Deep, hands-on operator experience — you have personally run UA, commercial or rewards operations in Germany. This seat directs those levers through other teams for now; we’re hiring the operator who can take direct control as that changes, not a permanent overseer.
-
Experience setting direction and holding a function accountable for delivery when you don’t manage it — a UA team, a creative agency, a Product roadmap — briefing sharply, reading what comes back, and pressing when it misses.
-
Comfort being measured on a blend of acquisition, product and commercial outcomes rather than a single clean metric — you think in terms of what moves the whole flywheel, not just your own lever.
-
Native German, with current, lived understanding of German consumer behaviour, competitive dynamics and business culture. Fluent English for the wider team.
-
Experience in rewarded, loyalty, offerwall or performance ad tech, with fluency in value-based bidding, the MMP and attribution stack (Adjust, AppsFlyer, Singular), and iOS measurement constraints such as SKAdNetwork and AEM.
-
Based wherever suits you in Europe, with regular time in Germany to stay immersed in what’s actually landing with the market — this isn’t a role you can run on memory from five years ago.
