Requirements
A technical master’s degree in e.g. Physics, Electronics engineering
At least 10 years of experience in dealing with Standardization and conformity assessment in
Translate technical challenges into regulatory aspects
A passion to match the targets in these fields realistically with business constraints;
A proactive, entrepreneurial, business-oriented working attitude and a proven understanding of the value of shaping regulations and standards towards business needs
Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiating abilities
The confidence and communications skills to operate at all levels both internally and externally
Self-propelling, goal and business oriented
Responsibilities
First contact to customer on safety, compliance and regulatory matters. Maintain relationship with relevant committees at our customers.
Demonstrate to customer the compliance of our systems and arrange the approbation and certification of ASML products in their country, eg. arrange local inspections
Monitoring and understanding new and upcoming regulations, standards and regulatory trends with support from Veldhoven team
Support central regulatory and compliance team with translation and interpretation of legislation, regulations and standards into technical requirements.
Align with global Regulatory Intelligence team and Business on lobby and standardization strategy, carry out in cooperation with customers
Expert Knowledge, Advice & Capability Building
Recognized as the safety, compliance and regulatory expert in ASML Taiwan
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
