The Role

The main function of the Global Fulfillment and Logistics Specialist is to coordinate and expedite shipment scheduling and inventory movements. This role is responsible for creating, distributing, and executing the shipping plan, sales order fulfillment, and compiling reports on inventory levels.

You will work daily with transportation providers, third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and internal teams to ensure accurate and on-time delivery to customers.

Engagement Details

• This is an onsite contractor role based at our Acme facility in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
• Initial contract length is 6 months, with the expectation of extension to 12 months.
• Pay rate is $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

• Review documents such as production schedules and work orders to develop shipping plans.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Maintain complete inventory traceability and accurate inventory records, including stock held at 3PL locations.
• Process inventory requests and material allocation for customer orders and internal projects.
• Create shipping documents and ensure accuracy of documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Create freight quotations and evaluate transportation options.
• Coordinate pickup scheduling and communication with transportation companies and 3PL partners.
• Support execution of structured replenishment programs, including bin-based Kanban (SSP) fulfillment: consumption tracking, replenishment coordination, and consumption processing in ERP.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping schedules, and delivery issues.
• Perform material handling in support of shipping and receiving activities.
• Execute sales order fulfillment and monitor fulfillment performance.
• Maintain effective interdepartmental communication with manufacturing, procurement, customer service, and finance.

What You'll Bring

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a logistics/warehouse environment is required.
• A bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma/GED combined with sufficient relevant work experience.
• ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong data analysis skills.
• High proficiency in MS products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects.
• Technically proficient.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking skills, including analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to employ effective time management skills.
• Independently follow and execute work assignments; must be able to work without supervision and be a self-starter.
• Able to travel internationally as business needs require.
