As a GIS Automation Testing - Associate, you will engage in client support, focusing on the integration of business application consulting within our Maximo Consulting framework. This role is pivotal in enhancing field service and operations modernization, where your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of client operations. As an Associate, you will be immersed in a learning environment, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Business & Supply Chain Operations network, working within our Functional & Industry Technologies competency. You will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will support senior staff, engage in research, and participate in project tasks, all while developing basic skills and knowledge. Responsibilities

Work with the Functional Analysts and Tech Teams- understand the functional and Technical Requirements to identify the Test Scenarios and Test Cases

• Develop and document comprehensive GIS test plans, strategies, and test cases based on requirements, segregate into Desktop, Web and Mobile platforms as needed
• Work with the DB team to review Data QA and Acceptance criteria
• Work with Testing COE and Test Teams in planning and executing Test cases.
• Help Testing team in Building Test scripts for GIS driven scenarios.
• Help Building GIS Test automation for functional scenarios, both for desktop and web environment.
• Understanding Functional requirements and the Tech Solution as per documentation (or explained by the Lead)
• Conduct ST, SIT, facilitate UAT
• Defect Management and Resolution
• Go
• Live support for sanity testing and developing specific business scenarios for testing.
• Prior experience in GIS Testing assignments will be an advantage

What You Must Have

Minimum of 5 years’ working experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online)

• Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture
• ArcGIS Server, Portal, data Store etc.
• Understanding of Utilities Domain and Esri Utility Network

Understanding of ArcGIS Pro concepts:

Maps, Projects, Layout templates, Editing Templates, Tasks etc.

Understanding of Esri geoprocessing tools:

model Builder

Basic GIS concepts:

Topology, Connectivity, Utility Network, Projection Systems etc.

Understanding of Geodatabases:

Versioning and Spatial data Types

Understanding of Esri performance and Testing tools:

• PerfQAAnalyzer, ArcGIS Monitor etc.
• Understanding of Test automation tools i.e. Selenium that can integrate with ArcGIS
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
• Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication

What Sets You Apart

Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas

Knowledge of Esri Utility Network- Core Principles:

• SubNetwork, Associations, Containment, Tracing etc.
• Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure and trigger development
• Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
• Advanced Excel capabilities
