The Generosity Engagement Manager is responsible for building and strengthening meaningful relationships with YouVersion's recurring giver community by connecting them to the impact of their generosity. This role develops and executes engagement strategies, communications, and experiences that help givers feel informed, valued, and connected to YouVersion's mission. Working collaboratively with the Donor Experience, Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Product teams, this role helps create consistent, meaningful touchpoints that deepen engagement and strengthen long-term relationships with ministry partners.

What You'll Do
Develop Generosity Engagement Strategies
Write and produce the Sowers newsletter by translating ministry impact, community stories, and key data into engaging content that keeps recurring givers informed, inspired, and connected to YouVersion's mission.
Plan and execute virtual engagement experiences that connect recurring givers around the shared mission of YouVersion.
Identify, develop, and package compelling stories and impact communications that demonstrate the outcomes of generosity.
Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to develop content and assets that support engagement initiatives and key giving moments.
Cultivate Donor Relationships
Lead YouVersion's care strategy for the recurring giver community by developing systems, automations, and processes that enable meaningful engagement at scale.
Develop and manage personalized engagement throughout the giver lifecycle, including prayer responses, milestone acknowledgements, giving anniversaries, and proactive outreach.
Monitor engagement trends and coordinate meaningful follow-up that supports long-term donor relationships.
Partner with Operations to ensure donor care processes are effective, consistent, and well coordinated.
Build Engagement Systems
Design and manage workflows, automations, and tools that deliver a consistent and meaningful recurring giver experience at scale.
Partner with the Donor Experience team to ensure consistency and excellence across all donor facing communications and engagement.
Collaborate with Product to identify opportunities that enhance the recurring giver experience through the YouVersion platform.
Track engagement outcomes and communicate insights that inform future engagement strategies and continuous improvement.
Skills Needed to Succeed
Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships and inspire action.
Ability to identify, develop, and communicate meaningful stories of ministry impact that inspire ongoing donor engagement.
Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
Ability to develop and manage engagement systems, workflows, and automations that deliver consistent and meaningful donor experiences at scale.
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelors degree preferred.
3-5 years of relevant work experience.
