What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the operations of a premium national portfolio on behalf of our key client, Quintessential. This is a high-profile role for a seasoned property professional who thrives on delivering world-class service, driving customer satisfaction, and maximising asset performance across premium-grade commercial real estate.
Reporting to the Account Director, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the Quintessential Asset Manager, overseeing all aspects of asset operations including financial performance, customer relations, building maintenance, and compliance. You will lead a team of Senior Facilities Managers across multiple managed assets, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
An overview of the role:
· Ensure full compliance with all elements of the property management agreement
· Oversee financial performance, customer relations, and building maintenance across the portfolio
· Deliver timely and accurate reporting including asset plans, monthly reports, owner's annual reports, and business plans
· Lead the implementation of sustainability initiatives and ensure data collection and reporting within agreed timeframes
· Drive high levels of satisfaction from both tenants and owners
· Maximise the portfolio's financial performance through effective budget management and revenue optimisation
· Analyse financial data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies
· Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of professionals
· Conduct performance assessments, manage workload through resource planning, and develop succession plans
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and implement best practices
· Ensure all staff and contractors receive appropriate training, site inductions, and professional development
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
· Maintain a strong focus on safety, security, and emergency preparedness
· Implement and monitor risk management plans covering public liability, fire and lift safety, essential services, contractors, and the management team
· Promote a 'Safety First' culture for all staff, contractors, and visitors
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
· Real Estate Licence (mandatory)
· Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role, preferably within premium-grade commercial assets
· Strong understanding of commercial real estate operations, leasing, and property management
· Knowledge of local market trends and competition in the premium-grade asset segment
· Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead medium to large teams
· Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
· Strong analytical and financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
· Demonstrated track record of driving customer satisfaction and retention
· Deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry and premium-grade asset markets
· Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational excellence and customer experience
