About the Role
We're looking for a talented Fullstack Engineer with strong Node.js and TypeScript experience to join our growing AI & DevEx team, led by Casper Nielsen.
You'll help build the next generation of Diagrid's AI infrastructure and developer tools, working across backend services, APIs, and user-facing applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building products end-to-end, solving complex technical challenges, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.
You'll work closely with engineering and product leadership to turn ideas into production-ready capabilities, with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
What You'll Do
Build end-to-end product features: Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
Develop scalable backend services: Build APIs, integrations, and services that power Diagrid's AI infrastructure and developer-facing products.
Work on AI infrastructure: Help develop the tools and services that enable developers to build, deploy, manage, and operate AI agents reliably in production.
Own features from concept to production: Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
Create great developer experiences: Build intuitive interfaces, APIs, and workflows that make complex distributed systems easier to use.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with AI, platform, product, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges and deliver customer value.
Champion engineering quality: Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, contribute to architectural decisions, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Solve challenging technical problems: Work on distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, integrations, and the reliability challenges that come with production AI applications.
What We're Looking For
Strong professional experience developing production applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience building modern web applications using React or a similar frontend framework.
Solid understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and service integrations.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with cloud-native development, containerization, and modern deployment practices.
Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
Ability to independently own technical projects and deliver high-quality solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in an environment where requirements evolve.
Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams.
A product mindset and genuine interest in understanding the problems developers and customers are trying to solve.
Nice to Have
Experience building AI-powered applications, AI agents, or LLM integrations.
Familiarity with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, or agent development patterns.
Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices.
Knowledge of Dapr, Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud infrastructure.
Experience with real-time systems, messaging, or asynchronous workflows.
Contributions to open-source projects or experience working with developer-focused products.
Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth technology startup.
Working Hours
Diagrid's team works across Europe and North America.
Our India team’s day typically starts around 12:00 PM IST, with afternoons overlapping Europe and evenings overlapping the US. You’ll need to be available for a core US overlap window of 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM IST; outside that, you can structure your day flexibly.
