Full Time Nanny – San Francisco, CA

A welcoming family in the Richmond District of San Francisco is seeking an attentive, collaborative full-time nanny for their 8-month-old infant. This family values respectful care, modern child development practices, and a true partnership in supporting their baby’s growth.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free household environment
• Family practices respectful care focused on modern child development and fostering independence
• Values open communication, collaboration, and a long-term partnership (minimum 1–1.5 year commitment preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Baby Care: Maintain current schedule for naps, bottles, and playtime; prepare provided milk and solid food; perform diaper changes; take baby on walks and to music class; adapt routines as baby grows
• Child Development: Support independent sleep practices, follow hunger cues and encourage self-feeding during mealtimes, and balance engaged play with safe independent play
• Household Support: Manage light baby-related tasks as time permits (e.g., running the bottle washing machine, tidying play areas, folding baby laundry)

Requirements:

• Proven experience with infant care
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 1–1.5 years
• Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to open, daily communication

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Montessori principles or a strong interest in early child development
• Language proficiency in: English, Mandarin, or English and Spanish (English fluency required if pairing with Spanish)

Compensation:

• $30–$36 per hour based on experience
