JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Part-time Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficient and proper handling of stock and products within the warehouse. 

Responsibilities: 

• Complete replenishment orders and put product away.

• Handle stock carefully and properly to avoid damages.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.

• Hauling of inbound freight off the docks.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years of age.

• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as required for the role and safety regulations.

• Must pass all pre-employment testing (Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Team player who also works well independently.

• Ability to work safely and operate power equipment in a safe manner is required (i.e., Forklift and Pallet Jack).

• Warehouse experience is an asset.

Hours of Work:

• Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Work most statutory holidays; receive “floater” time off in lieu, which can be booked like vacation.

Compensation:

• Start: $28.08 per hour

• Year 2: $28.35 per hour

• Year 3: $29.45 per hour

• Year 4: $30.55 per hour

• Year 5: $32.86 per hour

• Eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses
