We are seeking a self-motivated business development person for our Fiber Optics Production and Lab Test Division, a critical growth area supporting the rapid evolution of optical supply chain into AI and advanced communications technologies. This is a technical position that requires engagement with new customers on new applications and developing technologies. You will be responsible finding new opportunities in the Greater China including Taiwan and the wider region
The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in fiber optic test and measurement, with a proven track record in related technical field and with experience of dealing with customers. The position is based in Greater China, reflecting the demand for optical components and new technologies associated with the AI/SiPh build out.
In this role, you will drive new opportunities in our core and adjacent markets, identify new customer logos, and accelerate new product adoption. You will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role and have ability to understand customers technical needs and match it to Viavi’s capabilities. You will play a key role in providing market intelligence to shape our R&D roadmap and ensure our solutions meet the future needs of the rapidly changing field of fiber optics for the AI sector.
