THE JOB:

The Food & Beverage Marketing Manager for The Corner Store at The Cosmopolitan will lead the brand's creative identity, sales strategies, and guest engagement initiatives as a key member of the opening team. This role develops and executes marketing programs, promotional campaigns, and communications that drive revenue and enhance the venue's brand presence. As the face of the restaurant, the Manager oversees the reservations, works closely with hosts, and serves as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring exceptional service and memorable guest experiences. All duties are performed in accordance with MGM Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Proactively monitor and manage booking strategy for the dining venue; Coordinate with host team to ensure booking assignments meet brand and vibe standards

• Communicate dining guidelines and venue availability to all property departments. Monitor and evaluate all guest reservations to ensure floor plan is maximized and aligns with staffing levels

• Responsible for distributing venue information internally to all MGM related departments in advance of all events and promotions while working closely with sales & marketing hosts to mentor, coach and develop them while increasing their sales and generating venue revenue

• Manage and attend all applicable trainings, meetings, pre-shifts, check-ins, outreach, promotions with full knowledge of operating hours, staffing, menu selections and pricing, venue availability and is responsible for the hosts knowledge of the same

• Responsible for ensuring team meets exemplary customer service standards including recognition at the host podium and coordinating all special requests with the service teams

• Develop strong rapport and strategic relationships with all relevant Casino, VIP, Entertainment, and guest facing departments, serving as the primary, go-to liaison for the brand to drive cross-property business and guest referrals

• Deliver daily, detailed communication to the management team regarding high-profile guests, dining preferences, and specific seating arrangements to ensure the right guests are positioned in the right places for a flawless experience

• Uphold and champion the premier brand standards, ensuring venue’s unique identity is represented in all internal and external marketing and promotional campaigns

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of prior host, nightlife, entertainment, or relevant experience

• Food and beverage management experience

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong customer service skills
