About Hotel Forty Five

At Hotel Forty Five, located in the vibrant downtown of Macon, the Food & Beverage Attendant contributes to exceptional guest experiences across all dining outlets by providing warm, attentive service from the moment guests arrive until they depart. The role focuses on supporting daily food and beverage operations, maintaining high standards of service and product quality, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. Overview of the role 

Food & Beverage Attendant will ensure smooth, efficient service by delivering food and drinks promptly, supporting servers, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. The role includes verifying orders for accuracy, assisting guests with requests, clearing and resetting tables, restocking service stations, and coordinating closely with kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting, and the physical stamina to be on your feet throughout the shift. This is a guest‑facing role that plays a key part in creating a positive dining experience and upholding the venue’s service standards.

What you have  

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, business, or event-related education preferred.
• Two (2) years of previous experience in hotel sales, catering, events, hospitality, or administrative support preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn hotel systems; CI/TY experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Effective communication with kitchen staff.•
• Handling guest requests efficiently.•
• Participation in training for service improvement.•
• Knowledge of restaurant promotions and events.•
• Flexibility to perform additional tasks assigned.•

• Ensure successful performance by assisting guests with an exceptional experience to ensure high-performing scores on the GSS according to Marriott. 

Physical Demand
