Located in Livonia, Michigan, at the Masco World Headquarters, the Financial Reporting and Consolidation Analyst will report to the Consolidations Manager, with a dotted line to the Financial Reporting Manager. The Analyst will work closely with three other experienced Financial Analysts, as well as cross-functionally with departments such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Benefits, Treasury, Risk Management, Tax and Internal Audit.

The Analyst will assist in the preparation of the financial statements and accompanying footnotes for the Form 10-Q and Form 10-K in accordance with Company Policy, U.S. GAAP requirements and SEC regulations. This Analyst will also assist the consolidations processes such as the acceptance of the financial results submitted by the business units, the recording of consolidating journal entries and generating reports from the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) System.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and compile various financial reports to assist in the monthly financial review processes, some of which are used in the company’s quarterly earnings releases and calls
• Assist and participate in training sessions to provide technical accounting guidance relevant to our business units
• Optimally communicate across the enterprise with internal partners to capture financial information required
• Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide analysis and any required audit documentation necessary for the successful completion of any audit
• Support other projects as assigned

Preferred or Required Qualifications/Skills:

• The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college or university
• Prior exposure to SEC and/or direct experience is a plus
• Prior experience with public accounting firms is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligible
• Proficiency in use of Adobe Suite, as well as Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
