The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our dynamic Analytics & Integration team within Finance Shared Services located in Mesa, Arizona; Everett, Washington; or Hazelwood, Missouri. This role focuses on developing automated processes, building data driven solutions, and delivering operational dashboards and analytics that enable finance leaders and analysts to make faster, data-driven decisions.
The team is open to considering a broad range of levels for this role. Including both associate and experienced level Financial Data Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
Automation and Dashboard Development:
Participate in automation initiatives and contribute to the development of insightful dashboards and tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Automate routine finance processes (data collection, reconciliations, reporting) to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
Partner with Finance Shared Services teammates to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Continuous Improvement:
Partner with the analytics and integration team and other Finance functions to brainstorm and execute continuous improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency
Prototype solutions, measure impact, and scale successful automations
Financial Acumen:
Translate financial business processes into scalable solutions for the enterprise requiring a general working knowledge of EVM (Earned Value Management), EAC (Estimate at Complete) data, financial analysis, and performance reporting
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Experience with analytics tools including: Tableau, SQL, R, and Python
Experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Experience working with financial tools such as Cost Schedule Planning & Reporting (CSPR), Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE), Enterprise Planning and Analysis System (EPAS), Financial Project Cost Report (FPCR), and Enterprise Accounting Systems (EAS)
Experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
Experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC)
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic competency in one or more of the following SQL, Tableau, Python/R, Alteryx, or Excel VBA macro development.
Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) Boeing Conversational Artificial Intelligence (BCAI) and strong prompting ability
Familiarity with IRE, FPCR, and other Boeing software
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment
Proficiency in integrating work across teams, functions, and locations
Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively
Adaptability and a strong sense of curiosity

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $73,950-$106,950
Summary Pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $90,050-$131,100
