YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
Prometheus Real Estate Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll analyze financing and investing needs, manage asset management and treasury functions, and perform strategic long-term cash flow analysis that directly impacts our business decisions. You'll work closely with the Vice President of Finance to support the financial health and growth of Prometheus Real Estate Group and related entities.
- Financial Analysis & Strategy – Analyze long-term cash flow needs to inform financing and investing decisions; manage personal banking and investments for company ownership; track key interest rates and market indexes; prepare annual financial statements on current value basis for our portfolio.
- Portfolio Management & Performance – Oversee revenue management, sales analysis, and refinancing analysis; calculate proceeds and ROIs for repositioning efforts; manage property and portfolio budgeting; benchmark portfolio performance; conduct property tax analysis and appeals.
- Reporting & Insights – Maintain and enhance our Finance and Asset Management platform; track returns and identify portfolio trends to mitigate risk and maximize revenue; develop controls and assign responsibility for key P&L and Balance Sheet items; provide regular reporting to ownership on financial and asset performance.
- Lender & Corporate Communications – Assist in negotiating lender agreements for construction and permanent financing; coordinate due diligence requirements with lenders and third-party consultants; maintain communications with primary banks and serve as liaison between banking partners and our company.
- Operational Excellence – Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned; maintain regular attendance and compliance with company standards; travel occasionally as needed to support business objectives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The Financial Analyst must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Management, or Real Estate Management preferred. 1-3 years of relevant finance experience; Experience in multi-family, single-family, or commercial real estate development.
- Core Competencies - Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret complex financial data.
- Technical Competencies - Computer proficient in Windows, MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Hyperion, Yieldstar, SAP, Yardi; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and business periodicals.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation
- Pay Range: $82,700.00 to $101,100.00 per year
