Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned, high maturity Finance Manager, as an anchor to our Thailand office. She will take ownership of the end-to-end financial and subledger reporting process, supported by 2 local account executives. As the role is 100% remote, reporting to a Senior Finance manager in Singapore, we require a disciplined professional with the emotional intelligence, good problem-solving skills, and professional maturity to manage local stakeholders.

Job Summary
Responsible for overall local Finance and Administrative activities in Nordson Thailand Ltd.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Accounting:
a) Manage and supervise the local Finance Team
b) Responsible for completeness and accuracy of accounting records
c) Responsible for compliance to all the statutory audit matters.
Payroll:
a) Responsible for prompt and accurate payment to the employees including the reporting to the authorities including the social insurances and individual income taxes.
Account Receivables and Account Payables:
a) Manage the AP & AR Accounts Executives
b) Work closely with SSC (in Singapore) – Finance - AR team for Credit Management
c) Approve AP Payments
Inventory Management and Control:
a) Ensure proper controls are exercised over inventory including the carrying out of regular physical stock checks and preparation of appropriate stock reconciliations and analyses.
b) Ensure customer returns and warranty claims are properly accounted, and appropriate level of provisions is maintained.
c) Inventory reporting and analysis
Fixed Assets, Depreciation and Capital Expenditure:
a) Ensure proper recordings and documentations on major items of capital expenditure.
Treasury and Banking:
a) Manage banking relationships and the operation of the bank accounts. Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on a timely basis.
b) Ensure adequate controls are maintained over cash transactions and balances
Secretarial and Legal:
a) Responsible for company secretarial matters including filing Annual Returns and other statutory filings.
b) Responsible for liaising with legal advisers on local legal issues.
Taxation:
a) Responsible for all aspects of tax compliance including ensuring the timely and accurate submission of all tax returns; including WHT, VAT, Employees’ IIT and Corporate Income Tax.
b) Responsible for tax issues and queries generally and liaising with tax advisers and corporate tax.
c) Advise on the local country tax regulations
Ad hoc duties related to local office
Education and Experience Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above, in Accounting / Finance/Business / Economics or related field.
2. Having at least 5 years’ relevant working experience working in a MNC environment.
3. Experience working with the different government agencies and Bureaus for Social insurances, Tax, Ministry of Commerce, Customs etc.
4. Experience with payroll
5. Experience with managing a small team
6. Experience of preparing local statutory accounts as well as reporting under US GAAP
Preferred Skills and Abilities
High level of IT literacy, with experience in SAP is strongly preferred.
· Able to work independently and very hands-on
· Strong communication skills, including excellent command of both spoken and written English.
· Confidence to work with and support local operations, sales and service management.
· Comfortable with being remotely managed from overseas.
· Having business acumen is a good advantage.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
· Traveling to different Nordson offices within Thailand
· Minimal international travel
