About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Finance and Accounting Intern to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing crypto firm. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting, digital-asset operations, financial reporting and regulatory controls.
What You’ll Do
Assist with accounts payable, payment processing, invoice verification and expense tracking.
Perform bank, digital wallet and liquidity-provider reconciliations.
Support the recording and reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, client funds and trading balances.
Assist with month-end closing, journal entries and preparation of management reports.
Maintain accounting schedules, supporting documents and audit records.
Support financial and regulatory reporting, including data extraction and validation.
Investigate reconciliation differences and follow up with Finance, Operations and Technology teams.
Assist with process improvements, automation and other ad hoc finance projects.
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with large volumes of data.
Strong communication skills and willingness to work across different teams.
Interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets or fintech is preferred, but prior industry experience is not required.
This internship provides hands-on experience in both traditional accounting and the financial operations of a regulated digital-asset business.
