Job Summary

As a Finance Analyst supporting Shipping and Authentication, you will serve as a strategic financial partner for a critical strategic initiative. You will provide hands-on analytical rigor to optimize our global logistics networks and authentication operations. By partnering closely with operations, finance, and cross-functional eBay teams, you will connect macro market data and deep financial modeling into clear, actionable perspectives. This role is vital to ensuring a frictionless experience for buyers and sellers while delivering financial visibility and driving strong unit economics for the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex market sizing, competitive benchmarking, financial modeling, and scenario planning to evaluate strategic investments and risks related to shipping and authentication programs.
• Own program insights and reporting against key business metrics in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Act as the central point of contact across operations, business, product, strategy, and finance to ensure critical path milestones are met from a financial planning perspective.
• Synthesize insights across disparate business units to eliminate redundant efforts, identify portfolio-wide implications, and accelerate enterprise decision-making.
• Proactively identify, problem solve, and escalate potential project blockers / risks and triage complex issues across stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related strategic finance role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with a strong ability to analyze business metrics and report on performance.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• A self-starter who can work independently to achieve goals on time.
• Strong "follow-through" mindset with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments.
• High degree of agility and comfort with changing or evolving strategic directions.
• SQL experience is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn basic data querying skills, alongside familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
• Prior experience in authentication, logistics/operations, or exposure to product development, is a plus.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical workflows and productivity is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
