Role Overview:  

A Field Services Technician II plays a key role in the set-up, calibration, transportation, and maintenance of agricultural equipment for both branch and customer use. You’ll help ensure safe, efficient operations while building strong working relationships with growers and team members in the field and at the branch. 

A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role: 

• Set up, calibrate, transport, and operate agricultural equipment safely in customers’ fields. 
• Assist with routine maintenance and safety checks on trucks, tractors, tanks, and ag equipment. 

• Move and install fertilizer tanks using proper materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols following manager’s direction. 

• Maintain a clean, organized facility and comply with all company and legal operating standards. 

• Assist with responding to customer questions and escalate issues to management as needed. 

• Represent Wilbur-Ellis professionally and build strong relationships with growers and team members. 

What You Bring to the Role: 

• 2+ years of experience and at least 18 years old 

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required  

• Forklift experience (certification provided on the job) and willingness to operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment  

• Mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge of fabrication (e.g. welding) techniques and machine calibration 

• Physical ability to repetitively bend and lift 50 lbs. 

• Willingness and desire to work overtime during busy seasons 

• Class A CDL is preferred but not required 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

 Your Digital & Technology Capabilities: 

• Comfortable using mobile devices, digital equipment interfaces, and technology tools to support equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and field operations  
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-powered tools, automation solutions, and digital workflows that improve safety, efficiency, and service quality  
• Ability to accurately enter, review, and use operational data to support equipment performance, maintenance activities, and informed decision-making

Compensation and Benefits:   

• The base compensation for this position ranges from $21.88 to $29.19 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
