Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an experienced Field Engineer 3 (FE3) to support our Patient Care Solutions (PCS) business in Southern Wisconsin, with the Madison area preferred. This role will primarily focus on servicing ARC systems while also providing support across additional PCS modalities as business needs require.

The FE3 will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of complex medical equipment at customer sites. The successful candidate will serve as a technical resource and customer advocate, delivering exceptional service while ensuring equipment performance, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This position requires strong field service experience within the medical equipment industry, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a demonstrated understanding of GE HealthCare systems, processes, and service tools. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, managing customer relationships, supporting operational objectives, and mentoring less experienced engineers as needed. FE3-level expectations include consistently demonstrating operational excellence, serving as a customer escalation resource, driving service quality, and contributing to business growth initiatives.

  • Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Serve as a key member and leader of the account community for assigned accounts.
  • Exhibit boundaryless collaboration with Commercial Sales teams and region/zone leadership to support business growth.
