Job Summary

• Full-Time Schedule: Three 13.5-hour shifts, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM–8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality patient care during transport
• Safely operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment
• Assist with discharges and facility transfers professionally and respectfully
• Accurately document patient care
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Emergency Medical Technician required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support - required
Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] required
Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License preferred
Experience
EMT Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and crisis situations.
