Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities and provide effective support to employees, customers and various on-site partners.
This is a 6-month contract position based at our Laval office and requires on-site presence five days a week.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Provide day-to-day support for our facilities and workspaces.
- Perform manual tasks related to the set-up, relocation and reorganization of offices, meeting rooms and common areas.
- Move, install, disassemble and rearrange furniture, equipment and supplies.
- Prepare rooms and spaces as needed: arrange furniture, set up equipment and inspect the premises.
- Provide front-line support for audiovisual equipment and facilities.
- Conduct preventive inspections of our facilities, identify any issues and report necessary repairs.
- Coordinate service calls with building representatives and monitor maintenance and repair work.
- Help with site access management by preparing access badges, taking photos and activating required accesses.
- Receive, prepare, pack and ship merchandise and documents.
- Perform various handling, storage, filing and logistical support tasks.
- Respond to requests from internal and external customers, coordinate inquiries and ensure effective follow-up.
- Prepare required reports, notices and documents, and perform any other related tasks.
What you will bring:
- At least two to five years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to communicate in French, both spoken and written.
- Customer-driven.
- Thoroughness and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to excellence.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of commonly used software, including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
- Bilingualism (French-English) – You will interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
- No Canadian work experience is required; however, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
