Job Description:

Miller Electric is seeking Paint Line Associate to join the Components Division team. You'll work hands-on with parts and materials throughout the manufacturing process, preparing components for paint, installing hardware, moving materials, and supporting production flow for parts that become components of Miller welding equipment. The successful candidate will support manufacturing operations while ensuring product quality and efficiency. We are looking for an individual who will demonstrate a safety-first mentality and regularly practice effective communication within a team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Load and unload parts on the paint line.
• Ensure quality and packaging per customer’s request.
• Attach and remove hooks from the paint line.
• Apply masking materials to designated areas to protect surfaces from paint, coatings, or other finishing applications.
• Install PEM nuts and weld nuts onto components, ensuring proper placement and secure attachment. No setup required.
• Move materials as needed to support production flow.
• Receive training in painting techniques and processes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Safety-minded.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems.
• Willing to cross-train and learn multiple production processes.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work extended shifts/overtime when production needs require it.
