Western Express, Inc is searching for an Extended Coverage Log Auditor to join our Safety team.

Western Express is an asset-based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with terminals and facilities located across the United States. The primary function of this position is monitoring drivers ELD records for regulatory compliance.

This position requires initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail and time management. You will develop a thorough understanding of FMCSA regulation and interpretations.

Duties, Goals, and Responsibilities:

• • Audit driver logs to identify and address Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
  • Review Personal Conveyance intent and usage.
  • Monitor daily compliance reports, including unassigned driving time, Personal Conveyance usage, and odometer discrepancies.
  • Coach drivers on HOS requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
  • This is an extended coverage position, 4 days on 3 days off from 5pm to 6am.

Required Skills:

• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
