As an Expert Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of our on-premises Kubernetes platform and core infrastructure environments.

This role is hands-on and operationally focused, requiring you to manage Kubernetes clusters, maintain compute, storage, and networking systems, and proactively monitor production environments. You will work closely with DevOps and development teams to enable seamless deployments, automate operational processes, and ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and highly available.

Requirements

What you’ll own

• Administer core infrastructure comprising servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and networking components.
• Ensure platform availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and capacity planning across production environments.
• Monitor infrastructure health using observability tools and proactively address performance issues.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
• Drive infrastructure automation using IaC tools, scripting, and CI/CD integrations.
• Enforce security best practices, provide L2 operational support, and maintain operational documentation.

What success looks like

• Kubernetes and infrastructure platforms consistently deliver high availability, security, and performance.
• Incidents are resolved efficiently with preventive measures reducing repeat occurrences.
• Infrastructure capacity and resource utilization are proactively managed to meet business needs.
• Monitoring and observability provide early visibility into risks and performance bottlenecks.
• Automation reduces manual effort and improves operational consistency, scalability, and reliability.
• Security, compliance, patching, and backup practices are effectively maintained across environments.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and operational processes enable seamless service delivery.

You may be a strong fit if you

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Have hands-on experience managing Linux-based production environments and enterprise infrastructure.
• Possess strong Kubernetes administration skills, including Docker, Helm, and kubectl.
• Are experienced with virtualization platforms, networking fundamentals, and storage technologies.
• Have expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or ELK.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, scripting, CI/CD tools, and Git workflows.
