CPM Ireland is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Expenses and Payroll Administrator to support the Payroll function on a part-time basis. This administrative role responsible for assisting with expense processing, payroll administration, document management and maintaining accurate records.
Working closely with the Payroll Manager and wider payroll team, the successful candidate will help ensure payroll and expenses processes are completed accurately and efficiently. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration of employee expense claims through the company online expenses portal.
- Review expense submissions to ensure receipts, descriptions and approvals are included and compliant with company requirements.
- Follow up on missing or incomplete information as directed.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the expenses management system.
- Provide administrative support to the payroll team, including updating trackers, checklists and payroll records.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and the collation of payroll-related information for review.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is filed appropriately.
- Handle employee, payroll and financial information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support the timely completion of payroll and expenses activities.
- Support continuous improvement of administrative processes within the payroll function.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and complete routine tasks efficiently.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional and trustworthy when handling confidential information.
Desirable
- Previous experience in an office, administration, finance, expenses or customer-facing environment.
- Experience working with online systems or databases.
- An interest in payroll, finance or accounting administration.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week across 3 days. The role will support routine payroll and expense administration deadlines, including document collation, approvals tracking, record maintenance and preparation of information for review.
Specific days and working arrangements may be agreed based on business requirements.
Qualifications
- This is a junior or entry-level position.
- Previous experience in administration and/or a customer-facing role is advantageous.
- Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) preferred.
