What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Executive Banquet Chef is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and execution of all banquets and catering culinary operations throughout the resort. This position oversees banquet food production, quality standards, menu development, labor management, and culinary execution for meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and special functions. The Executive Banquet Chef partners closely with Events, Catering, and Banquet Operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial and operational goals.

Essential Responsibilities

· Lead all banquet culinary operations and production.

· Develop innovative banquet menus and seasonal offerings.

· Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards for all events.

· Manage banquet kitchen staffing, scheduling, and labor productivity.

· Collaborate with Catering and Conference Services on event planning.

· Oversee food preparation for weddings, galas, conventions, and VIP functions.

· Maintain food cost, inventory controls, and purchasing standards.

· Ensure compliance with all sanitation, HACCP, and safety standards.

· Recruit, train, mentor, and develop banquet culinary team members.

· Partner with Executive Chef on strategic culinary initiatives.

What are we looking for?

· 5–8 years of banquet culinary leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts.

· High-volume banquet experience exceeding 500+ guests preferred.

· Strong organizational, leadership, and menu development skills.

· Knowledge of food costing, labor management, and culinary operations.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work in hot, cold, and humid kitchen environments.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
