Role overview
DUAL North America is seeking an Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and project management of our full events portfolio, from industry conferences and tradeshows to DUAL-hosted partner events, philanthropic events, internal employee events, and digital events.
This role sits within our Marketing and Communications team and serves as the primary owner of event strategy and execution, partnering closely with underwriting and business development leads, the broader marketing team, and outside vendors to ensure every event reflects the DUAL brand and drives meaningful business and culture outcomes.

help build out event strategy for a growing specialty insurance business.
Role responsibilities
• Own end-to-end event strategy, planning, and project management across DUAL North America's full events portfolio
• Coordinate DUAL's representation at industry conferences and tradeshows, including logistics, staffing, sponsorships, and booth planning
• Plan and execute DUAL-hosted external events, including broker appreciation events, carrier events, and giving-back/charitable events
• Plan and execute internal employee events, including holiday parties and other culture-building experiences
• Coordinate logistics and run-of-show for quarterly employee townhalls, partnering with the VP of Marketing and Communications and executive leadership on format, content flow, and technical execution
• Own branded merchandise ordering, inventory, and distribution across events and offices
• Partner with the marketing team to develop and distribute event invitations and coordinate pre- and post-event marketing and communications
• Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors, venues, and event partners
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event recaps and impact reporting
• Maintain a master events tracker/calendar
• Track and report on event ROI and attendance metrics, using insights to refine future event strategy
• Collaborate with underwriting and business development teams to align event participation with business goals and sponsorship opportunities
• Support other brand-visibility initiatives connected to events, as needed
Key requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality/Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in event planning, event management, or a related field, ideally within a B2B industry, including experience managing multiple concurrent projects and vendor relationships
• Strong creative eye and ability to conceptualize events end-to-end, from initial idea and theme to venue selection and décor, that reflect the DUAL brand and elevate the attendee experience
• Energized by building and shaping an events program that's still taking form, rather than stepping into a fully mature strategy with an established playbook
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
• Experience managing event budgets and tracking ROI
• Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, business development, underwriting, and executive stakeholders
• Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• This role will require up to 20% travel to attend various events, conferences, or internal meetings
• This role is based in our Golden, CO office on a hybrid basis with minimum 3 days per week in office
