As an ETL Automation Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into valuable insights within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will be at the forefront of client support, leveraging your skills to design and implement efficient data pipelines that drive business decisions. Within our Data Modernisation practice, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance data processing capabilities, confirming seamless integration and automation.

As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to navigate complex scenarios and build meaningful client relationships. You will guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and learning. Your role will involve analyzing intricate data concepts and interpreting feedback to inform strategic recommendations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your clients and teams, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is not clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will contribute to the Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, driving data modernization initiatives. Your work will be instrumental in advancing our Data, Analytics & AI competency, positioning you as a key player in shaping the future of data engineering.

Responsibilities

- Developing and automating ETL processes using Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory to streamline data integration
- Implementing data architecture development and optimization strategies to enhance data pipeline efficiency
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake Data Warehouse for scalable data storage and retrieval solutions
- Designing and maintaining data models and dimensional modeling to support data transformation and validation
- Collaborating with teams to address data warehouse troubleshooting and indexing challenges
- Applying analytical thinking and query optimization techniques to improve database performance
- Building data anonymization and security protocols to safeguard sensitive information
- Managing database administration tasks using MySQL and PostgreSQL to validate data integrity
- Leveraging Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform for advanced data analysis and insights generation
- Supporting client engagements by providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members in data engineering practices

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- ETL Automation Engineer + Guidewire Insurance

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
