What You’ll Do:
We are currently looking to add a Claims Analyst position within our Executive Risk Solutions practice group. Primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
- Attends carrier functions to represent IMA and further cultivate carrier underwriter and management relationships
- Assist with ERS claim in-take, submission/notice, and document management
- Prepare and coordinate communications between clients, insurers and placement team
- Manage claim tracking process and calendar reminders for follow-up as necessary
- Establish insurer relationships and contacts to assist in time-sensitive matters
Required Experience and Skills include but are not limited to:
- College degree (4 year)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
- Commitment to excellence.
- An ability to respond calmly, creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to handle standard situations and prioritize multiple tasks depending on the circumstances.
- Computer proficiency with multiple applications: Microsoft Office, etc.
- The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises

- Prefer experience in Insurance claims handling:
- claims submission and policy requirements
- Ability to review and interpret insurance claims correspondence
- Assist in claims advocacy on behalf of policyholders
- Analysis and understanding of coverage afforded under applicable insurance policies and potential coverage defenses
- Assist in negotiations with insurance carriers regarding defense arrangements and staffing
- Prefer experience in Insurance claims handling:
