Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Epic Cogito reporting solutions using Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, SlicerDicer, SQL, and Clarity/Caboodle databases.
• Create and optimize complex reports, dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics tools for healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop data extracts, queries, and reporting solutions to support clinical, financial, quality, compliance, and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define reporting specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Analyze healthcare data trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot report performance issues and optimize database queries for efficiency.
• Support Epic upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects related to reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, report inventories, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities for reporting solutions.
• Provide end-user training and support for reporting and analytics tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Epic reporting and analytics environments.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Radar, and SlicerDicer.
• Strong SQL development and relational database experience.
• Experience developing BI and reporting solutions within healthcare organizations.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, clinical operations, revenue cycle, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic Cogito Certification (Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model, Cogito Fundamentals, Reporting Workbench, or Radar).
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or other business intelligence platforms.
• Experience supporting health systems, hospitals, health plans, or integrated delivery networks.
• Knowledge of quality reporting programs, value-based care, population health, and healthcare analytics.
• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, or cloud-based analytics solutions.
