Environmental Services (EVS) Manager
Eddy Village Green Cohoes | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
The Environmental Services Manager is responsible for managing the facility's physical environment. Particularly directing and supervising the functions and activities of all housekeeping and laundry services. Is responsible for the overall management of human, fiscal and material resources for the department. Participates with other managers in policy development and long-range planning for the institution.
Demonstrates the organizations’ commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.
Education Requirements:
Associate degree with basics in Business Management, Engineering Sciences or related field and four years of management experience in a New York Residential Health Care Facility (RHCF). Bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering Sciences or related field and two years of management experience in a NYS RHCF. May substitute two years of management experience for each year of education.
Experience Requirements:
Work experience in one of the trades or technical fields preferred.
Pay Range:
$24.60 - $29.43
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
