Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Entry-Level Test Engineer. Primary Responsibilities.
- Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
- Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
- Briefing internal parties on test results and data.
- The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
Basic Qualifications.
- The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
- Candidates must have basic understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
- Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
- Ability to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
- Candidate must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Candidate must be a resident of Northern Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
Preferred Qualifications.
- 0+ years of experience with test planning and execution.
- Basic knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
- Basic experience software languages Python and LabVIEW.
- Basic experience with Linux, MATLAB, and Wireshark.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
