We are looking for an exceptional Enterprise & Finance Transformation Sr. Director to join nVent. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Finance and Transformation, this highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape how nVent operates as an enterprise. You will play a key role in connecting strategy to execution, enabling better decisions, and building the capabilities that will define our next phase of growth.


WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

• Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that connect strategy, planning, and execution across finance, digital, supply chain, and commercial functions.

• Shape and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap aligned to company priorities, with measurable outcomes tied to growth, productivity, and decision speed.

• Build and lead cross-functional teams and programs, partnering closely with senior leaders to drive alignment, adoption, and sustained results.

• Influence executive stakeholders and navigate complex trade-offs across enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.

• Simplify complex initiatives into clear, scalable execution plans that accelerate delivery and impact, with measurable outcomes and KPIs

• Partner with technology and data teams to enable a modern data and analytics foundation that supports integrated planning and decision-making.

• Serve as a change agent and thought leader in enterprise transformation, driving continuous improvement and new ways of working across the organization.

 

Be a people leader/talent developer

 

• Help recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing Transformation team within Enterprise and broadly at nVent.

• Mentor direct reports and cross-functional partners and work with them to elevate their transformation mindset and skill set.

• Responsible for training, performance evaluations, and career development.

 

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting, Engineering, or Business required; MBA preferred.

• 12 – 15+ years of professional experience driving change within large organizations, with a proven track record of execution, delivery, and results.

• Prior experience implementing cross-functional, large-scale business process transformation and data analytics projects in global manufacturing or complex, matrixed environments.

• Experience with ERP / financial consolidation systems , automation and analytics, master data governance, and end-to-end process improvement for record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash.

• Demonstrated ability to harness the power of data and information, enabled by AI, is a significant plus.

• Ability to communicate and deal effectively with personnel at all organizational levels and establish sound relationships with co-workers and executives.

• Ability to travel minimally, about 5% of the time.

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$204,400.00 - $304,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
