Requirement:
M . Tech (Design / Thermal)
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Product Design and Development preferably in the field of Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
- Hands-on experience in product design, engineering calculations, testing, and validation activities
- Experience in applying the technical understanding and design principles to the product design and should be able to correlate with actual product testing
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and correlate analytical results with product testing outcomes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, along with statistical data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ; Well conversant with presentation through MS tools and experience of presentation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and engineering methodologies
- Creative mindset with a strong affinity for learning and driving innovation
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance.
Added Advantages :
- Exposure to Engineering tools – DFMEA, DOE
- Knowledge of GT Suite / Matlab / Matcad
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Execute assigned project activities and engineering deliverables under project timelines.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones, to meet business objectives
- Ensure timely execution with focus on speed and quality.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and reports
Design & Engineering
- Support development and evaluation of engineering concepts and design proposals.
- Perform design calculations (thermal, machine design, fluid mechanics) with guidance from Senior engineers.
- Assist In product design validation, manufacturability, and performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with various engineering teams - Design, Procurement, Engineering Laboratories, Plants, Quality, for project execution
Testing, Validation & Problem Solving
- Support Prototype builds, Analyze test data.
- Perform validation and ensure compliance with UL standards and design intent
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective actions.
Project Management
- Track assigned tasks and communicate progress proactively.
- Identify project risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to engineering processes.
- Support project closure activities and lessons learned documentation.
- Follow configuration management practices to ensure proper documentation
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
Engineering Tools & Methods
- Support DFMEA, DOE, VAVE activities under guidance
- Leverage tools such as GT Suite, Mathcad, and other analytical platforms to drive continual improvement
- Ensure effective use of engineering calculations, simulations, and digital tools.
