Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for an Engineer 3 to join our team in Farmington Hills.

• Test planning for body & interior safety regulatory testing (i.e. FMVSS, ECE)
• Test preparation for vehicle and part orders and creation of detailed test plans for both internal and external laboratory testing
• Test schedule management and coordination of testing with other departments both inside and outside of Nissan following the Nissan project development schedule
• Conduct and oversee testing in coordination with laboratory technicians on-site at our Farmington Hills R&D Test Facility. Position is primarily on-site.
• Test data analysis and root cause study
• Summarize and report test results to management, develop and propose design countermeasures, and create development and certification test reports.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical, Electrical).
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Automotive engineering experience (Design & Release or Safety) and CAD skills preferred, but not mandatory.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Travel required- approximately 4 trips/year
