Summary:
The Project Engineer owns the engineering design packages that take qualified sites through to permit-ready status across a large, fast-moving portfolio of EV charging, battery energy storage (BESS), and edge compute projects.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer generates and reviews conceptual-through-construction design packages, functionally leads Highland's external engineering partners, and serves as the technical authority on utility and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements — carrying the concept design packages through Issued-for-Permit (IFP), and permit-application packages that bring each site to build-ready.
