Job Description:

As the DMV Marketing & Communications Specialist III, you will have the opportunity to help build and lead an agency-wide communications and marketing program. This is not a position where every day looks the same. One day you may be developing a statewide campaign encouraging customers to use online services; the next you may be preparing executive messaging, working with the media, creating content for a major service change, or helping launch a new DMV initiative.

If you enjoy taking complex information and making it understandable, finding creative ways to reach customers, working on projects with statewide impact, and seeing the results of your work, this may be the position for you.

Government communications doesn't have to be boring, and neither does working at the DMV.

This position offers the chance to help redefine how the Nebraska DMV communicates with its customers and tells its story. You'll work on projects with statewide visibility, have the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table, and see your work translate into better information and better service for Nebraskans.

If you're looking for a communications position where you can create, innovate, problem-solve and make an impact, we'd like to hear from you.

Look at what we have to offer!

• 13 paid holidays

• 79% employer paid health insurance plans
• Dental and vision insurance plans
• Employer-paid $20,000 life insurance policy
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) through the Federal government

• Training and Development based on your career aspirations
• Fun, inviting teammates
• A safe and secure environment

At the State, we stand by our core values of treating others with dignity and respect, acting ethically in all situations, and creating an environment where our customer is our top priority. Apply to join our team today!
