Position Summary:

The District Pharmacy Coordinator (DPC) plays a critical role supporting the effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across their market. With strong organization skills, high accountability, and consistent follow-through, the DPC ensures that all pharmacist schedules are created and published on time, with coverage and contingency plans in-place, to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and protect against business disruption. The DPC additionally supports the scheduling and staffing of outside immunization clinics, supporting client relationships and ensuring clinic teams are prepared for success. The DPC serves as a timekeeping administrator for market pharmacists and is responsible for accurate and timely execution of pharmacist payroll submission. As a key support to the Pharmacy District Leader (Rx DL), the DPC serves as a delegate to execute base changes, track and monitor vacation requests, manage pay code balances and may support additional administrative activities related to the compliant and effective functioning of market pharmacies, including but not limited to:

• Partnering with Rx DL to identify and close any gaps with PIC/POA registrations for each pharmacy location with the state Board of Pharmacy

• Escalating and/or following up on issues impacting effective pharmacy operations, e.g. TempAlert excursions, Service Channel tickets, store supply ordering, exception reporting, audits, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment

• High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred

• Unless otherwise required by the Board of Pharmacy (BOP), Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification must be obtained no later than 90 days in role. State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

o Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time

o Lift, scan, and bag items

o Reach overhead; stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items and as needed to distribute totes or place merchandise on shelves

o Move fingers repetitively; picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm

o Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items

o Control precision; quickly adjust machines to exact positions

o Stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist

o Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer/POS terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts

o Occasionally lift of up to 20 – 40lbs. or force and/or exert up to 20 lbs. of force; Frequently lift of up to 10 lbs. and/or exert up to 10 lbs. of force; Consistently lift and/or exert a negligible amount of force to move objects.

o Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately

o Perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; Have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Lead Technician experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems strongly preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $28.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
