The Discovery Account Manager is responsible for driving overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals leveraging all of the Cytiva account team.
This position will be fully remote in Belgium.
What you will do:
Represent Cytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for Discovery customer segments.
Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services.
Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
5 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
Sales techniques include cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.
As the role is based in Belgium, preferable candidate needs to speak/understand both languages : Dutch and French; Business language is English
Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
QlikSense or Sales Force
DBS (Danaher Business System) growth tools.
Business market knowledge.
