Are you a commercially minded relationship leader who thrives on growing complex client portfolios and creating meaningful business impact? We're looking for a Director to join our Institutional Transaction Banking team in Melbourne. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with a diverse portfolio of large corporate clients, helping them solve business challenges, unlock growth opportunities and maximise the value they receive from our transaction banking solutions.

Do work that matters

You'll be a trusted adviser and growth partner, responsible for deepening existing client relationships, expanding product penetration and delivering strategic solutions that drive stronger outcomes for clients and the bank. Working with senior decision-makers across a broad range of industries, you'll bring insight, strategic thinking and commercial acumen to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders and create long-term value. As well as;

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic corporate clients.

• Develop and execute client growth strategies focused on revenue, deposits and cross-sell opportunities.

• Identify client challenges and connect customers with solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.

• Present innovative transaction banking initiatives and market insights to senior client stakeholders.

• Build relationships across multiple levels of client organisations, including treasury, finance and executive leadership teams.

• Lead end-to-end RFP and tender processes independently.

• Work closely with internal product and relationship teams to deliver coordinated client solutions.

• Act as a trusted adviser, helping clients navigate opportunities and challenges across their business.

• Contribute strategic market insights and thought leadership within the corporate client segment.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Significant experience managing and growing complex corporate or institutional client portfolios.

• A strong sales and commercial mindset with a proven ability to drive revenue growth within existing client relationships.

• Experience identifying opportunities, influencing stakeholders and delivering strategic client outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cash management, payments, working capital or related financial solutions.

• Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage confidently with executive and C-suite stakeholders.

• Proven experience leading client presentations, commercial discussions and competitive RFP processes.

• The ability to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing capabilities.

• A client-centric approach combined with strong strategic and commercial judgement.
