• Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement comprehensive omnichannel retail media strategies across Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, Overstock.com, Kirkland’s, and BuyBuyBaby that align with overall business and marketing goals.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and optimization across on-site and in-store retail media placements (e.g., sponsored product ads, display, in-store signage and media).
• Program & Team Management:
  • Oversee a team responsible for selling ad programs and placements to selling partners across the portfolio of banners.
  • Oversee the execution and management of retail media programs, ensuring they meet performance and revenue benchmarks.
• Media Mix Management & Thought Leadership:
  • Act as a thought leader on retail media measurement and ensure media mix and goals are aligned to maximize business performance across banners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and third-party tools and platforms for Sponsored Product Ads and SSPs, adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilize analytics tools to track program performance, selling partner engagement, and other key metrics.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of retail media professionals, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with merchandising, store operations, creative, product, and technology teams to ensure alignment of retail media programs with business initiatives across all banners.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, ad tech vendors, and SSPs as needed to enhance program performance.
  • Follow legal policies as directed.

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in retail media or digital advertising, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of growing retail media programs for similar retailers, ideally with experience across both on-site and in-store placements.
• Familiarity with third-party tools and platforms for Sponsored Product Ads and SSPs.
• Strong quantitative skills required to analyze and optimize retail media programs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet goals.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
