We are looking for a senior, independent business development leader to build Glance TV’s strategic partnerships across the U.S. media and entertainment ecosystem. This is a senior individual-contributor role for a proven dealmaker with strong executive relationships across OTT platforms, streaming services, broadcasters, studios, production houses, and media companies.
You will own the entire partnership lifecycle, from originating opportunities and negotiating commercial agreements to driving launches and long-term growth. If you enjoy turning relationships across media and entertainment into partnerships that reach real audiences, this role gives you ownership of that work.
You will work directly with senior leaders and shape Glance TV’s partnership strategy in a rapidly evolving industry. This role offers significant ownership, executive visibility, and the opportunity to build partnerships that help define the future of television.
Location: Los Angeles is our preferred location for this role, and we are open to candidates based onsite in our San Mateo, CA office. The role also requires approximately 70% travel.
The Impact You’ll Make:
Partnership Strategy and Origination
- Build and execute Glance TV’s partnership strategy across OTT, streaming, broadcasting, studios, production houses, and media networks.
- Leverage senior industry relationships to originate and close strategic partnerships with significant commercial or strategic value.
- Develop partnership opportunities across advertising, content discovery, product integrations, commerce, audience engagement, and joint go-to-market programs.
- Represent Glance TV at industry events and executive meetings, with approximately 70% travel.
Deal Structuring and Commercial Propositions
- Structure and negotiate complex agreements, including revenue-sharing arrangements, licensing, advertising partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Develop compelling commercial propositions that combine Glance TV’s AI capabilities, audience reach, content, advertising, and commerce.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Advertising, Content, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to take partnerships from agreement through launch and scale.
Pipeline and Performance
- Own pipeline development, commercial forecasting, deal economics, and partnership performance.
What Success Looks Like
- Build a strong pipeline and close high-value media and entertainment partnerships.
- Establish Glance TV as a strategic partner to leading OTT, streaming, and media companies.
- Drive successful launches that deliver measurable revenue, audience engagement, and strategic growth.
- Develop repeatable partnership models that scale across the U.S. market.
The Experience We Need:
- 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, media, entertainment, OTT, streaming, advertising, or related industries
- A proven track record of independently sourcing, negotiating, and closing multi-million-dollar deals or partnerships with significant commercial or strategic value
- Strong executive-level relationships across the U.S. media and entertainment ecosystem, particularly OTT platforms, streaming services, broadcasters, studios, and content owners
- A strong understanding of CTV advertising, content distribution, digital video, audience monetization, and emerging commerce opportunities
- Experience structuring complex partnerships involving multiple commercial, product, technology, and legal stakeholders

Our compensation philosophy enables us to provide a competitive salary that drives high performance while balancing business needs and pay parity. We determine compensation based on a wide variety of factors, including role, nature of experience, skills, and location.
The base or fixed salary for this role ranges from $221,000 to $250,000 USD (min to max of base salary). This salary range is applicable to our offices located in California and New York*. In addition, a Glancer may also receive variable pay in the form of an annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus/sales incentive, as deemed per policy, in addition to fixed compensation.
*Our ranges may vary based on the final location or region of the roles in accordance with the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.
In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, a Glancer can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units. We believe that our employees/personnel should have the ability to own a part of the entity they are a part of. Therefore, the entity employing you may elect to provide such stock to you. Ownership of stock enables us to treat our employer company as our own and base our decisions on the company’s best interests.
